A family based sailing club located at the Old Mill on Bosham Quay.  The oldest sailing club in Chichester Harbour, having celebrated their Centenary in 2007. 

Facilities include: 500 space dinghy park; Secure storage for tenders and outboard motors; Clubhouse with changing, showers and locker storage; Bar/ Restaurant open all-year round; Skippered Club Launch to ferry members to and from their moorings; Club Moorings in Bosham Creek; RYA Training Centre; Accredited status as a Volvo Championship Club ; Nearby all-day/ overnight/ long-term parking; Professional management, on-the-water, catering and bar staff teams to keep things running smoothly.

Said to have one of the largest fleets of competitively sailed classic dayboats made of traditional woods or modern replicas in the UK.  The club provides Individual heritage craft and traditional classes such as National 18s, Chichester Harbour Twelves and Eighteens, Sharpie, Yachting World Dayboats, Fairey Falcons and Tideways are all represented, together with more modern day-sailers including Devon Yawls. 

Located in an historic Quay with all-tide access for launching dinghies,  BSC is perfect for sailing.  BSC has a stunning Clubhouse, once a water mill. Watch racing from our quayside terrace,  enjoying their professionally-staffed bar and restaurant, open Thursday to Sunday all year.

Providing sailing development for their  Cadets, who can progress through the classes from Optimist and Mirror to Topper, RS Feva, Laser, 420 and beyond.  The comprehensive training and racing on offer makes BSC an RYA Volvo Championship Club.

BSC’s activities range from learning to sail and pottering, through to keen racing, Channel cruising and crossing oceans too. The club also run an active social programme linked to sailing.

Membership – Single adult prices start at £334 a year ex VAT.  Applicants are required to fill out a form as well as provide proposers and seconders, who need to have been members of the sailing club for at least two years.
