Swanage SC was established in 1935 aiming to encourage the art of sailing for pleasure and competition. The club today has a fleet of Wayfarers, Lasers, Toppers and Darts. Located in the sheltered bay of, Swanage, this location has ideal weather conditions for sailing. A novice sailor benefit from the sheltered sailing whilst there is a chance for more high-speed action for the more experienced sailor.

SSC offers sailing for all ages and abilities, it prides itself on having a friendly family atmosphere, with a full sailing programme and free adult and junior training. The club welcomes members how don’t have a boat.

The club holds cups races, exchange visits from other clubs, during the Spring Summer and Autumn. The club also offers free training for adults and children.

The social activities are an integral part of the Clubs programme and during the winter and summer, includes parties, barbecues and children’s water sports as well as more formal occasions.
