Thorney Island SC is a registered charity and can only a limited number of civilian members, therefore, members should support the Club’s Objects and be willing to volunteer to help out with club maintenance and carry out a working duty each year.

There are no social events arranged. Members intend to sail and either own a sailing vessel, or in due course buy one. The clubs requires a short interviews for prospective applicants.
